Кандидат в президенты США от Демократической партии Хиллари Клинтон провела в ФБР несколько часов, отвечая на вопрос о нарушениях при использовании ею личной электронной почты на посту госсекретаря США, сообщил американский телеканал CNN.

"Хиллари Клинтон провела в ФБР три с половиной часа в рамках расследования об использовании ею частного почтового сервера, когда она возглавляла Государственный департамент", - отмечается в сообщении со ссылкой на офис кампании кандидата в президенты США.

В то же время отмечается, что экс-глава госдепа сама согласилась на интервью в ФБР, чтобы расставить все точки над "i" в расследовании.

"Клинтон добровольно свидетельствовала сегодня утром про электронную почту, которая была у нее в распоряжении, когда была госсекретарем. Она с удовольствием воспользовалась возможностью помочь Министерству юстиции прийти к выводам. Уважая процесс следствия, она не будет комментировать свое интервью (ФБР – прим.)", - заметил по этому поводу представитель кандидата в президенты Ник Меррилл.
