Информированный источник рассказал изданию о том, что демократы сильно давят на Хиллари Клинтон и буквально заставляют ее вернуться в политику. Особенно заметно давление от демократов Нью-Йорка, настаивающих на том, чтобы Клинтон боролась за должность мэра вместе с Биллом де Блазио, который сейчас является мэром этого мегаполиса. Также источник указал, что нынешний мэр Нью-Йорка хорошо знаком и с Хиллари, и с Биллом Клинтонами, и в свое время де Блазио тесно с ними сотрудничал.
Однако после президентской гонки прошлого года отношения между де Блазио и супругами Клинтон резко ухудшились, и это произошло после того, как мэр Нью-Йорка отказался поддерживать Клинтон. Однако эксперты утверждают – борьба за кресло мэра Нью-Йорка бывает одной из самых сложных, и она ничуть не легче, чем борьба кандидатов на пост президента США.
