Упродовж місяця після передачі УТР Міністерство інформаційної політики України планує запустити телеканал іномовлення з робочою назвою Ukraine Tomorrow. Про це в інтерв'ю «Телекритиці» повідомила заступник міністра інформаційної політики Тетяна Попова.

За її словами, потрібне рішення уряду по УТР, наразі в міністерстві чекають документальної юридичної передачі.

Також Тетяна Попова зазначила, що Ukraine Tomorrow мовитиме чотирма мовами: українською, російською, англійською та кримськотатарською.

Нагадаємо, Кабінет Міністрів України 18 березня ухвалив розпорядження про передачу телеканалу БТБ Міністерству інформаційної політики України (МІП).

Міністр інформаційної політики Юрій Стець ще 22 лютого анонсував, що впродовж місяця його міністерство запустить телеканал іномовлення Ukraine Tomorrow. За словами міністра Стеця, телеканал стане противагою російським пропагандистським каналам, зокрема Russia Today. Очікується, що канал фінансуватиметься з державного бюджету та з фінансової допомоги ЄС та США.
