Иранское агентство Iranian Labor News Agency отредактировало кадры вручения "Оскара" за лучший фильм на иностранном языке, чтобы скрыть голые руки и плечи голливудской актрисы Шарлиз Терон.

Видео опубликовала в Facebook иранская журналистка Масих Алинеджад, основавшая движение "Тайная свобода", которое борется за право женщин не носить хиджаб.

На опубликованном ролике видно, что Терон заретушировали открытые участки рук и шеи. Таким же образом иранский вещатель отретушировал изображение ирано-американского инженера Ануше Ансари, которая принимала награду за лучший фильм на иностранном языке от имени иранского режиссера Асгара Фархади.

Алинеджад заявила в комментарии британскому изданию The Independent, что иранское телевидение использует абсурдные приемы, чтобы "держать женские тела закрытыми".

Она также отметила, что во время, когда многие люди выражают протест против "мусульманского запрета Трампа", необходимо быть "громче и яснее в осуждении запретов Исламской республики Иран относительно женщин, которые не могут выйти на улицы страны без хиджаба".

26 февраля в Лос-Анджелесе прошла 89-я церемония вручения кинопремии "Оскар". Лидером по количеству наград стал мюзикл "Ла-Ла Ленд", завоевавший шесть "Оскаров".
