Instagram, принадлежащий американской корпорации Facebook, запретил блогерам и популярным пользователям упоминать в записываемых ими видео социальные проблемы, политику и выборы. Об этом сообщает Bloomberg со ссылкой на копию договора, где есть соответствующий пункт.

По данным издания, такие условия поставили блогерам, которые получают от соцсети деньги за производство контента. Ограничения распространяются не на короткие видео, а на те, что снимаются в более длинном формате IGTV. Как отмечают источники издания, такая политика встревожила инфлюэнсеров, которым Instagram предложил записывать видео для IGTV.

Собеседники Bloomberg отмечают, что соцсеть предлагает блогерам деньги, покрывающие их производственные затраты в обмен на определенное количество постов. По данным агентства, самые крупные суммы превышали $250 тыс. больше чем за 20 постов. Отмечается, что Instagram заключил десятки сделок и планирует продолжить сотрудничество с популярными пользователями.

Введением новой меры, как передает агентство, руководство компании хочет оградить соцсеть от использования в качестве инструмента для манипулирования общественным мнением во время президентских выборов в США в 2020 году. Агентство приводит слова главы компании Адама Моссери, что Instagram «такая же крупная цель [провокаторов], как Facebook, если не бóльшая».
