Міністр інформаційної політики Юрій Стець заявив про вихід з 1 серпня проекту «Інформаційні війська України» із підпорядкування міністерства. Заяву про це сьогодні оприлюднено на сайті МІП.

«Дякую хлопцям і дівчатам з «Інформаційних військ України» за роботу. Ви створили проект, який не раз і не два ставив на місце російських пропагандистів, проект, який одним із перших перейшов в інформаційний наступ і змусив ворога збиратися на екстрені засідання та змінювати російське законодавство про інтернет», – заявив Стець.

Координатор проекту Святослав Батов зауважив, однак, що «Інформаційні війська» готові допомагати державним структурам як волонтерський проект.

Інтернет-проект «Інформаційні війська України» діяв як складова частина Міністерства інформполітики із 2015-го для відстежування і спростування фейкових новин та неправдивої інформації у соцмережах.
