В субботу, 25 февраля, в деле об убийстве сводного брата главы КНДР Ким Чен Нама появились новые подробности. Как передаёт Associated Press, Адриано Эрвин, занимающий пост заместителя посла Индонезии в Малайзии, рассказал журналистам о подробностях общения с 25-летней индонезийкой Сити Айшей, которая является одной из подозреваемых в деле об убийстве брата Ким Чен Ына.

Со слов Эрвина, в ходе получасовой беседы с подозреваемой он выяснил, что девушка даже получила финансовое вознаграждение за отравление Ким Чен Нама, в результате которого мужчина умер. Девушка заявила заместителю посла, что она и другая подозреваемая предполагали, будто участвуют в телевизионном проекте, где требуется вылить в лицо погибшего неопасное вещество. За это девушке предложили 400 малайзийских ринггитов, что почти эквивалентно 90 долларам США.

Полиция Малайзии в настоящее время заявляет, что подозреваемые лгут о своей неосведомлённости. По их мнению, Айша и вторая подозреваемая — Доан Тхи Хыонг — знали о том, что вещество, которое они выплеснули в лицо Ким Чен Нама, является смертельно опасным ядом. Предполагается, что девушки выплеснули брату главы КНДР в лицо яд, известный как нервно-паралитический агент VX.
