Судовий розгляд антимонопольного регулятора ЄС проти Google може загрожувати компанії штрафом в $6 млрд

Звинувачення будуть висунуті в середу, 15 квітня, згідно з домовленістю, досягнутою між єврокомісаром з конкуренції Маргрет Вестагер і президентом Єврокомісії Жан-Клодом Юнкером, повідомили виданню інформовані джерела в ЄС.

Google звинувачують в тому, що найбільший пошуковик віддає перевагу власним сервісам для подорожей, покупок і карт на шкоду сервісів конкурентів.

Судовий розгляд може стати найбільшим з моменту антимонопольного розгляду проти Microsoft.

Раніше повідомлялося, що ЄК вела розслідування проти американської інтернет-корпорації протягом п'яти років, за цей час воно тричі призупинялося.

Також стало відомо, що Європейська комісія попросила дозволу опублікувати скарги на Google у компаній, які раніше повідомляли про порушення пошуковиком законів у конфіденційному порядку.
