22 мая YouTube-канал украинского телеканала СТБ был взломан злоумышленниками, которые удалили все видео телеканала и вместо них разместили 28-минутный документальный фильм с логотипом телеканала «Россия-1». Фильм посвящен антитеррористической операции на востоке Украины. Он носит выраженный пропагандистский характер.

Компания StarLightDigital (представляющая интересы СТБ на YouTube) сообщает что впервые сталкивается с подобными методами информационной войны и в этот момент вместе с сервисом YouTube разбирается с взломом, восстанавливает нормальную работу канала и ищет методы предотвращения подобного в будущем. Технические специалисты в данный момент ведут расследование по факту взлома аккаунтов. Наши представители уже связалась с технической поддержкой YouTube с требованием вернуть управление всеми взломанными аккаунтами, восстановить контент и статистику.
