Голова Верховної Ради Володимир Гройсман вважає доцільним зменшення кількості депутатів парламенту. Про це він сказав на засіданні Конституційної комісії, головою якої він також є, пишуть Українські новини.

"Я думаю, що зменшення кількості депутатів Верховної Ради України, до речі, як ми зробили й зменшили кількість депутатів місцевих рад, може позитивно відбитися на підвищенні якості роботи українського парламенту", - заявив він.

Гройсман зазначив, що кількість депутатів Ради не обов'язково повинна бути зменшена до 100, це питання для дискусії, при цьому кількість парламентаріїв має бути такою, яка дозволяла б їм ефективно виконувати свої обов'язки.

Як повідомляло агентство, 15 жовтня електронна петиція про зменшення кількості депутатів Верховної Ради до 100 спрямована на розгляд Адміністрації Президента.
