Компания Groupon, занимающаяся интернет-торговлей и онлайн-купонами объявила о запуске новой торговой площадки для интернет-магазинов.

Концепция новой площадки Groupon Stores в том, чтобы предоставить любому продавцу новое место для реализации своих товаров, если он готов достаточно снизить цену. Отмечается, что цены в интернет-магазинах, присутствующих на Groupon Stores, должны быть по крайней мере на 5% ниже, чем у других торговцев,пишет companion.ua

При этом сервис будет взимать 15% от продаж за свои услуги.

"Это огромная возможность для нас превратить торговую площадку Groupon в нечто большее, чем просто место мобильной и онлайн-торговли, предоставляя больше возможностей и инструментов интернет-торговцам", - заявил PR-директор Groupon Билл Робертс.

Продажа товаров приносила хорошую прибыть компании с момента запуска подразделения Goods ("Товары") в 2011 году. Тогда этот бизнес приносил 33% дохода Groupon, а в 2014 году - уже 56%.
