Греческое правительство может выпустить квазивалюту, то есть специальные долговые расписки IOU (от англ. "I Owe You" - "Я должен тебе"), пишет Українські новини.

"Греция может отказаться в данной ситуации, если Европейский центробанк прекратит поставлять стране евро", - говорится в статье.

Расписками IOU власти Греции смогут рассчитываться с пенсионерами и госслужащими, а также компаниями, поставляющими товары и энергоресурсы. IOU при этом могут быть введены наряду с обращением евро.

Эксперты считают, что введение квазивалюты поможет Греции выбраться из долговой ямы. Как отмечается в статье, квазивалюту грекам придется обменивать на евро по рыночному курсу, а это может вызвать рост цен на импортные товары.

В Греции 5 июля власти провели референдум, в ходе которого греки проголосовали против подписания соглашения о предоставлении финансовой помощи Греции международными кредиторами — 61,31% не поддержали предложения ЕК, ЕЦБ и МВФ. "За" проголосовали 38,69% греков.
