Як повідомляє USA Today, в сумі фонд має у розпорядженні $ 4 млн. -  це найбільший антикризова кампанія, яку проводила Google. Фонд співпрацює з чотирма організаціями: Американський союз громадянських свобод (American Civil Liberties Union), Юридичний ресурсний центр для іммігрантів (Immigrant Legal Resource Center), Міжнародний комітет порятунку (International Rescue Committee) та Управління Верховного комісара ООН у справах біженців (UNHCR).

Після обмеження в'їзду іммігрантів в США згідно з указом президента Дональда Трампа, Google закликала якнайшвидше повернутися в країну своїх співробітників, які знаходяться за межами США.

Генеральний директор Google Сундар Пічаї (Sundar Pichai) публічно висловив заперечення проти імміграційної заборони і співзасновник компанії Сергій Брін взяв участь в акції протесту в міжнародному аеропорту Сан-Франциско. Керівники Apple, Microsoft, Netflix, Uber та Tesla Motors також засудили нову антиімміграційнуполітику.

Нагадаємо, після інавгурації Дональда Трампа у Вашингтоні відбулася масштабна акція протесту. Учасники маршу вирішили як нагадати про грубі висловлювання чинного президента щодо жінок, так і підтримати та надати голос незахищеним верствам у США.
