Компанія Google подала скаргу до Арбітражного форум ADR через домен ɢoogle.com.
 

Домен був зареєстрований громадянином Росії Віталієм Поповим ще в березні 2016 року, пише Motherboard. Для реєстрації дуже схожого домену чоловік використав символ з латинського алфавіту «ɢ», подібний до «G», який використовує відомий пошуковик. Представники компанії звинувачують росіянина в розсилці спаму, вірусів та збиранні персональної інформації відвідувачів сайту. Крім того, сайт розповсюджував спам на підтримку Дональда Трампа, використовуючи сервіс Google Analytics, пише Media Sapiens

Компанія вимагає, аби Арбітражний форум передав спірний домен під її контроль. В свою чергу Віталій Попов заявив, що не здійснює ніякої протизаконної діяльності. Окрім ɢoogle.com він володіє доменом lifehacĸer.com, в якому також використовується буква з латинського алфавіту «ĸ».

Представники Google від коментарів відмовилися, пославшись на те, що вони «не коментують судові справи, що знаходяться на розгляді».
