Компанія Google перезапустила інструмент Google Contributor, який стягує з користувачів внесок за можливість бачити менше реклами.

Нова функція обійдеться користувачам приблизно в п'ять доларів в місяць, повідомляє Новое время з посиланням на The Guardian.

Google запускає інструмент під назвою Funding Choices, який дозволить власникам сайтів показувати відвідувачам настроювані повідомлення з пропозицією дозволити рекламу або заплатити за її відсутність через Google Contributor. Цей додаток щомісяця буде стягувати плату з користувачів -грошовий внесок за можливість бачити менше реклами на сайтах.

"Користувач може заявити на конкретному сайті, що готовий заплатити за перегляд без реклами", - пояснив віце-президент Google по рекламі і комерції Шрідхар Равасвами.

Нова функція буде доступна спочатку в Північній Америці, Великобританії, Німеччини, Австралії та Нової Зеландії.

Крім того, Шрідхар Рамасвамі повідомив у своєму блозі, що в майбутньому Chrome перестане показувати рекламу (у тому числі ту, що належить або обслуговується компанією Google) на веб-сайтах, які не відповідають стандартам Better Ads Standards.
