Google планує інвестувати $ 300 мільйонів на допомогу медіа та боротьбу з фейковими новинами.

В Google зазначають, що журналістика в цифрову епоху опинилась у незручному становищі, отже компанія має подбати про майбутнє галузі, з якою вона має спільну місію.

Зокрема компанія планує покращити доступ до новин в Інтернеті, наприклад, за допомогою швидких завантажень мобільних веб-сторінок.

Нагадаємо, що новий скандал, пов'язаний з витоком даних 50 млн користувачів Facebook, вже призвів до втрати компанією 60 мільярдів доларів і може загрожувати її банкрутством. Засновник компанії Марк Цукерберг поки зберігає мовчання.
