Глава Національного банку Валерія Гонтарева вирішила влітку пройти курс навчання з квантової фізики.

Про це вона повідомила в інтерв'ю журналу Elle, передає Новое время

"Одне знаю точно: я ніколи не буду займатися політикою і не хочу більше бути регулятором. Я прийшла з приватного бізнесу, швидше за все коли-небудь повернуся в приватний бізнес або займуся науковими проектами. Під час відпустки і хочу зрозуміти, чого хочу більше. Я дійсно не звикла сидіти вдома, нічим не займаючись, тому вирішила влітку ще пройти онлайн-курси в якомусь університеті", - сказала вона.

Гонтарева повідомила, що онлайн-курс навчання буде пов'язаний з квантовою фізикою.

"Я вважаю, в цій області незабаром буде зроблений великий технологічний прорив і хочеться розуміти глобальну суть фізичних процесів. Як ви знаєте, за першою освітою я інженер-оптик (інженер-конструктор), тому завжди цікавилася новими технологіями і космосом", - зазначила глава НБУ.

Нагадаємо, що Гонтарева була призначена главою НБУ в червні 2014 року.

До цього вона була співвласником і головою ради директорів групи компаній Інвестиційний капітал Україна.

З 11 травня Гонтарева йде у відпустку до моменту її звільнення Верховною Радою.

Замість неї виконувати обов'язки голови Нацбанку перший заступник Яків Смолій.
