Пропагандисти, що поширюють проросійську риторику в медіа та соціальних мережах, стверджують, нібито у храмах Православної церкви України святкували Геловін, який автори таких дописів називають «святом нечисті». Мовляв, доказом цьому є відео, на якому можна побачити церковний хор, що виконує пісню, присвячену цьому святу. Його зняли нібито в соборі Святої Трійці у Луцьку. Втім це — фейк.

На нього звернули увагу аналітики проєкту StopFake. Вони зʼясували, що насправді відео зняли не в Луцьку, а в храмі Пресвятої Богородиці у Львові 8 жовтня, тобто до Геловіну. Ба більше, це храм Української греко-католицької церкви, а не ПЦУ. Крім того, в оригінальному відео хор виконує не пісню про свято, а церковну пісню «Як гарно у Храмі Твоїм, Богородице», що не має жодного стосунку до Геловіну. «Святкування» Геловіну в українських храмах неможливе, оскільки Православна церква України публічно виступає проти цього свята, про що розмістила розʼяснення на своїй офіційній сторінці  у фейсбуці. 

Поширюючи подібні фейки, пропагандисти хочуть зобразити українців як розкольників, що знищують свою віру задля ідеології. Мовляв, західні впливи заполонили навіть храми в Україні, тому Росія і ввела війська, щоб захистити «справжні цінності». «Детектор медіа» неодноразово спростовував меседжі та фейки, повʼязані з ПЦУ.
