Facebook планує запустити рекламу в своєму мобільному додатку Messenger у другому кварталі 2016 року. Про це повідомляє TechCrunch з посиланням на документи, отримані рекламодавцями, передає Gazeta.ua.

Бренди зможуть відправляти в месенджері рекламу у вигляді повідомлення тільки тим користувачам, з якими вони вже спілкувалися в чаті. Тому, як йдеться у документі, Facebook радить своїм бізнес-партнерам починати розмову з клієнтами в додатку вже зараз, щоб після запуску послуги вони змогли рекламувати себе в Messenger.

Крім того, соцмережа підтвердила порталу, що випустила коротке посилання fb.com/msg/, яка направляє на чати з компаніями. Однак у Facebook відмовилися коментувати можливий запуск реклами в Messenger.

Додаток Messenger є окремим продуктом Facebook, що дозволяє спілкуватися з мобільних пристроїв з друзями з соцмережі. Число активних користувачів налічує 800 млн чоловік в місяць. У самій соцмережі зареєстровано понад 1,5 млрд осіб. C червня 2015 року Messenger працює без прив'язки до Facebook.
