Facebook запроваджує систему сповіщень про кібератаки, які загрожують користувачам.

Про це повідомляє Media Sapiens з посиланням на Business Insider.

Повідомлення отримуватимуть ті користувачі, чий обліковий запис, на думку сервісу, може бути зламаний хакерами, які працюють за замовленням якоїсь держави.

Представники Facebook відзначили, що розсилка сповіщень не пов'язана з уразливостями в платформі і є додатковим заходом до вже реалізованих сервісом способів гарантувати безпеку акаунтів, начебто системи двоетапної аутентифікації.

Користувачам Facebook, які отримали попередження, рекомендується повністю перевстановити операційну систему або замінити пристрій, з якого вони здійснюють доступ до сервісу і в який могло бути впроваджене шкідливе програмне забезпечення.

Розсилка попереджень при цьому проводитиметься лише в тому випадку, якщо це виправдає вага інформації про потенційну кібератаку.
