Компания Facebook планирует увеличить количество сотрудников в Германии, которые занимаются удалением противоречащих закону и оскорбительных постов и комментариев, а также фейковых новостей.

Осенью в Эссене откроется второй центр по борьбе с интернет-троллями, в котором будут работать 500 человек, передает ZN.ua

Количество сотрудников в первом подобном германском центре, который действуюет с 2015 года в Берлине, будет увеличено до 700 человек. "Мы осознаем свою ответственность и будем и далее прилагать все усилия в борьбе с противозаконным контентом", - заявил директор Facebook по Центральной Европе Мартин Отт.

Такие шаги Facebook стали ответом на изменение законодательства ФРГ. В соответствии с утвержденным в июне Бундестагом законом, интернет-платформы должны теперь быстрее реагировать на появление подстрекательских высказываний и заведомо ложной информации и удалять ее. При явном нарушении закона это должно происходить в течение 24 часов, в менее ясных случаях - в течение одной недели. В противном случае соцсетям грозят денежные штрафы размером до 5 миллионов евро.

Facebook усиливает борьбу с интернет-ботами не только в Германии. Число сотрудников по всему миру, проверяющих содержание страниц в соцсети, будет увеличено до 7,5 тысяч человек с 4,5 тысяч.

Напомним, ранее Facebook начал использовать нейронные сети в технологии Lumos, которая позволяет искать изображения по тому, что на них изображено, а не по подписи или хэштегу.
