У межах нової "Політики конфіденційності" Facebook може використовувати не тільки усі дані сторінки людини, але й те, на які сайти вона переходить та які запити "вбиває" у пошуку, пише ТСН

З нового року "Нова політика конфіденційності" дозволяє сайту отримувати  усю приватну інформацію, яку користувачі розміщують на своїх сторінках: пости, дані про місцезнаходження, переписку, дані про оплати в Інтернеті.

За словами представника соцмережі, отримані дані дозволять краще підбирати рекламний контент, який розміщують на сторінці користувача.

Головний виконавчий директор групи Big Brother Watch Рената Семсон заявила, що нові умови конфіденційності не було гідним чином донесено до користувачів Facebook. "Дуже важливо, щоб компанії отримували згоду від користувачів перед внесенням будь-яких змін до налаштувань приватності, і користувач мав змогу прийняти чи не прийняти такі зміни", - вважає Семсон.

Працівник лондонської поліції Хелен Гудман вважає, що такі зміни можуть стати великим ризиком для недоторканності особистого життя "юзерів" мережі. "Це абсолютно типово для Facebook. Очевидно, що вони ставлять свої фінансові інтереси вище за своїх користувачів", - вважає Хелен.

Мережа заробляє величезні суми саме на рекламі, продаючи приватну інформацію користувачів. Рекламодавці, користуючись особистою інформацією людини, розміщують на її сторінці актуальну для неї рекламу. Лише останнього кварталу Facebook заробив більше 1,1 мільярда доларів завдяки рекламному контенту.
