Владельцы социальной сети Facebook обратились к исследовательскому центру Correctiv, чтобы в преддверии запланированных на осень парламентских выборов в ФРГ повысить контроль за верификацией контента в ее немецком сегменте. Об этом в воскресенье, 15 января, сообщили представители соцсети.

В задачу немецких партнеров Facebook входит проверка сообщений, которые пользователи заподозрят в недостоверности и, в случае подтверждения опасений, указание на сомнительный характер поста. При этом сообщение будет помечено специальным предупреждающим значком и по возможности снабжено ссылкой на надежный источник информации. Кроме того, специалистам предстоит блокировать попытки "монетизировать" фейки, уточняет агентство dpa.

"Возможно, мы также будем вводить визуальные ограничения в случае с недостоверными публикациями", - отметил представитель Facebook Гидо Бюлов (Guido Bülow). 

Ранее МВД ФРГ предложило создать "Центр защиты от дезинформации" для борьбы с фейк-новостями в соцсетях.
