Социальная сеть Facebook объявила о том, что изменит механизм составления новостной ленты, чтобы в ней было меньше статей с неинформативными и провокационными заголовками.

К переменам Facebook подтолкнули многочисленные жалобы: пользователи были недовольны тем, что заголовки статей вводят в заблуждение или не содержат ключевую информацию, заставляя читателя кликнуть, пишет ВВС

Речь идет о таких заголовках, как "Она заглянула под диванную подушку и увидела это... Я был в шоке!", "Собака облаяла почтальона, его реакция была бесподобна" , "Он положил чеснок в ботинки, перед тем как лечь спать, в то, что произошло дальше, невозможно поверить".

Компания выделяет два типа "кликбейт" (от слов Click (кликнуть) и Bait (приманка)) заголовков.

Это заголовки, которые не дают заранее понять содержание материала ("Вы не поверите, кто споткнулся и упал на красной дорожке") и заголовки, которые преувеличивают значимость заметки ("Правда ли, что яблоки вредны для вас?").

Созданный после анализа десятков тысяч подобных материалов алгоритм работает по аналогии со спам-фильтром в электронной почте.

Он может выявлять часто встречающиеся в кликбейт-заголовках фразы и определять страницы, регулярно публикующие подобные заметки.

Публикации плохо зарекомендовавших себя сайтов и страниц в соцсети будут реже появлятся в лентах пользователей.
