До 20-річчя виходу книги «Гаррі Поттер і філософський камінь» Facebook зробив сюрприз для своїх користувачів.

Якщо в пості або коментарі написати ім'я Гаррі Поттера і назви факультетів англійською мовою (Harry Potter, Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw), то вони автоматично змінять колір.

Наприклад, Ґрифіндор стане червоним, а Слизерин – зеленим.

А якщо натиснути на них, то користувачі побачать «магію» – на екрані з'явиться чарівна паличка з магічними спалахами.

Нагадаємо, 31 липня 2016 року у Лондоні стартували продажі восьмої книги про Гаррі Поттера. Напередодні, 30 липня, у театрі Palace відбулась прем'єра вистави «Гаррі Поттер і прокляте дитя».

6 вересня 2016 року вийшли три нові книги Джоан Роулінг про всесвіт Гаррі Поттера.

У жовтні 2016 року письменниця оголосила, що за її книгою «Фантастичні тварини і де їх шукати» про світ Гаррі Поттера знімуть 5 фільмів.

У квітні 2017 року стало відомо, що Джуд Лоу зіграє молодого Дамблдора у спін-офі до Гаррі Поттера.
