Американский рэпер Эминем отсудил у Национальной партии Новой Зеландии 600 тысяч новозеландских долларов (412 тысяч долларов США).

Такую компенсацию политическая сила выплатит исполнителю за нарушение его авторских прав, сообщает Новое время со ссилкой на  Associated Press.

Согласно решению суда, композиция Eminem Esque, которая использовалась в рекламе в 2014 году, очень похожа на трек Эминема Lose Yourself.

В партии заявили, что они взяли песню из австралийской библиотеки, которая купила права на использование записи в США. Партия уже готовит иск к владельцам прав на композицию Eminem Esque.

Песня Lose Yourself была выпущена в 2002 году в сборнике саундтреков к фильму Восьмая миля, в котором Эминем сыграл главную роль.

В 2004 году трек вошел в список 500 лучших песен всех времен по версии журнала Rolling Stone.
