Прокуратура Бразилии предъявила обвинения бывшему лидеру страны Луле да Силве за отмывание средств.

Как утверждают прокуроры, экс-президент и его жена не задекларировали роскошный пентхаус на курорте Гуаруха, который находится в их собственности.

По мнению прокуратуры, официально пентхаус находится на балансе строительной фирмы OAS, которая была замешана в крупном коррупционном скандале с госкомпанией Petrobras.

Сообщается, что обвинения выдвинуты также против сына экс-президента. Всего по коррупционному делу проходят 16 подозреваемых.

Лула да Силва, который был президентом в 2003-2011 годах, отрицает все обвинения и говорит, что дело является политически мотивированным.
