Индийское подразделение Durex объявило в Twitter о намерении наладить выпуск джинсов. Сообщение компания сопроводила промороликом, в котором сыграл известный актер Болливуда Ранвир Сингх. Намерение бренда презервативов переключиться на джинсы стало поводом для шуток в соцсетях.

Некоторые не поверили в планы компании, предположив, что объявление — часть маркетинговой кампании бренда. Однако позже представитель Durex подтвердил серьезность планов изданию International Business Times. Это породило новую волну шуток.

«Дорогие Durex. Ребристые презервативы — это круто. Рваные джинсы — тоже. Главное, не перепутайте эти две продукции, иначе нам кранты. Спасибо», — попросили микроблогеры.

«Джинсы Durex будут доступны в трех размерах: Азия, стандартные и Африка», — предположил пользователь Sagar из Индии.

«Durex выпускает джинсы. В конце концов, что-то нужно надевать и на другие две ноги», — заключил микроблогер Gabbbar.

Инициативы Durex часто становятся объектом шуток в соцсетях. Так, в сентябре 2016 года пользователи высказывали недоумение в связи с тем, что бренд запустил в продажу презервативы со вкусом баклажана.
