Кандидат в президенты США от Республиканской партии Дональд Трамп на предвыборном митинге раскритиковал позицию Москвы в сирийском вопросе и обвинил Россию в срыве соглашения о перемирии, пишет РБК

В ходе выступления на митинге в штате Аризона Трамп затронул ситуацию на Ближнем Востоке. «Россия нарушила соглашение о перемирии, и теперь в Сирии стреляют и бомбят. Этому следует положить конец и сделать это быстро». — сказал он.

Также Трамп указал, что российский президент Владимир Путин «не уважает ни президента США Барака Обаму, ни кандидата от Демократической партии Хиллари Клинтон».

В начале предвыборной кампании критики Трампа не раз упрекали его за комплименты в адрес российского президента. Сам миллиардер указывал, что в случае победы на выборах он будет готов вести переговоры с Путиным, однако намерен отстаивать на них интересы своей страны.

В ноябре прошлого года в ходе дебатов кандидатов от Демократической партии Трамп назвал неправильной критику военной операции России в Сирии. «Если Путин хочет пойти и задать взбучку ИГИЛ (деятельность организации запрещена в РФ. — РБК), то я 100% за это. И я не понимаю, как кто-либо может быть против этого», — заявил тогда бизнесмен.
