Про це свідчать результати глобального дослідження PR-компанії Edelman, презентовані минулого тижня під час Світового економічного форуму в Давосі, повідомляє Media Sapiens

Результати опитування, в якому взяли участь 27 тисяч осіб, показують: найбільш яскраво виражений розрив довіри між традиційними медіа та пошуковиками спостерігається серед  так званих «мілленіалів» (людей, які народилися наприкінці 1980-х та 1990 роках).

Google (найбільший онлайн-пошуковик) не висвітлює новин, а є лише агрегатором гіперлінків на матеріали інших сайтів. Тим не менш, користувачі, очевидно, більше довіряють саме пошуковику.

Згідно з дослідженням, традиційні медіа досі залишаються в очах аудиторії більш надійним джерелом інформації, ніж соціальні медіа. Разом з тим, великі соціальні мережі, як-от Facebook, стають все більш важливим джерелом трафіку для традиційних новинних веб-сайтів.
