Компанія Twitter запатентувала проект безпілотного літального апарату, який оснащений камерою і моделем бездротового зв'язку. За задумом розробників, дрон буде робити фотографії користувача і тут же розміщувати їх у його Twitter-акаунті.

Крім того, дрон зможе транслювати відео зі своєї камери в режимі реального часу для Periscope - дочірнього сервісу Twitter.

Представники компанії натякають, що керувати переміщеннями дрона можна буде за допомогою лайки, ретвіти та інших команд в повідомленнях у Twitter. Однак деталі, про те, як буде відбуватися управління, поки невідомі.

Також поки неясно, чи буде Twitter сам займатися продажем таких дронов, або ж мова йде про систему управління, яка буде доступна всім виробникам.
