Дизайнер из Швеции Оскар Пернефельд разработал проект объединенного флага планеты Земля.

Свою идею автор позиционирует, основываясь на проекте полета на Марс, который намечен на 2025 год. Дизайнер напоминает, что сейчас при полетах в космос каждый астронавт использует флаг своей страны, однако объединенный флаг, по его мнению, будет более уместным,пишет Новое время

"Своей идеей я хотел напомнить людям, что мы все делим одну планету, несмотря на границы и государства", - говорит Пернефельд.

Синий цвет символизирует воду, благодаря которой на Земле зародилась жизнь, белый цвет служит противопоставлением темному космосу.
