Екс-співробітник одного з підрозділів Yahoo! Скотт Ард подав в суд на нинішню генеральну директорку компанії Марісу Майєр через дискримінацію за гендерною ознакою, повідомляє Новое время з посиланням на видання Economic Times.

За словами Скотта Арда, процес оцінки роботи, реалізований Марісой Майєр був використаний, щоб незаконно скорочувати працюють в компанії чоловіків.

"Майєр заохочувала використання системи оцінки досягнень, що враховує суб'єктивні думки співробітників, що призводило до утисків чоловіків, що працюють в Yahoo", — йдеться в позовній заяві Арда.

У той же час, прес-секретар Yahoo Каролін Кларк в своїй заяві зазначила, що процес аналізу ефективності роботи є "справедливим". Система оцінки досягнень працівників, застосовувана в Yahoo, передбачає, що оцінку підлеглим виставляють їх керівники.

Цікаво, що за останній рік відсоток жінок, які стали займати керівні посади в Yahoo, збільшився з 20% до 80%.
