В честь годовщины запуска функции Instagram Stories социальная сеть составила рейтинг модных аккаунтов с самыми активными "историями". Его возглавила модель и актриса Эмили Ратаковски. На втором месте — популярный блогер Кьяра Ферраньи. На третьем — "ангел" Victoria’s Secret Кэндис Свейнпол.

Также в список попали четыре бренда: Dior, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana и Christian Louboutin. Рейтинг основан на общем количестве просмотров "историй" в аккаунтах, у которых 10 млн и более подписчиков. 

По словам фэшн-директора инстаграма Евы Чен, с помощью "историй" люксовые бренды учатся неформально общаться со своей аудиторией: "Как правило, марки хотят, чтобы все выглядело идеально. Если фотография не похожа на снимок Марио Тестино или Патрика Демаршелье, они не хотят ее публиковать. Однако с появлением "историй" стало понятно, что мода может быть более приземленной и веселой".

Instagram Stories были запущены в августе 2016 года как альтернатива Snapchat. За год аудитория "историй" выросла до 700 млн человек, при этом 250 млн пользуются сервисом каждый день. Количество юзеров Snapchat в данный момент составляет 161 млн ежедневно.
