Креативники данського агентства Uncle Grey вирішили, що якщо в реальному житті питання про ґендер є недоречним, то чому воно вважається нормальним в мережі?

Тому агентство створило розширення для браузера Google Chrome під назвою «Gender Free Internet» (Інтернет без ґендеру). Воно дозволяє користувачам переглядати сторінки та заповнювати інтернет-форми, не відповідаючи на подібні питання. Як пояснили творці розширення, воно допомагає людям уникнути незручних ситуацій, коли вони змушені вибирати між бути чоловіком чи бути жінкою. «Ви можете будь-що шукати в Інтернеті й вас не будуть заганяти в якісь рамки», - зазначили в Uncle Grey.

Для того, аби проілюструвати, що саме мають на увазі креативники агентства, було знято проморолик, в якому людей в реальному житті серед інших буденних питань запитували про їх ґендер. Більшість данців були збентежені й перепитували, про що йде мова.

Організатори прайду в Копенгагені, які теж долучилися до створення «Gender Free Internet», зазначили, що сьогодні ґендер є мінливим ландшафтом і багато хто не вписується в норми ґендеру. «Деяких людей питання ґендеру дратують так само, як реклама на YouTube. Різниця лише в тому, що YouTube-відео не зачіпають нічиї почуття», - розповіли вони про ідею цього розширення.

Нагадаємо, раніше в Україні вийшов навчальний посібник з ґендерної рівності та недискримінації. Посібник було видано у рамках проекту ОБСЄ «Підтримка утвердження ґендерної рівності в Україні» та викладено в мережу безкоштовно.
