Російська пропаганда ширить фейки про нібито використання Силами оборони України хімічної зброї на території Курської області Росії. Про це йдеться у повідомленні на сайті Центру протидії дезінформації при Раді національної безпеки і оборони України.
У ЦПД зауважили, що подібні вкиди є цілком типовими для пропаганди Кремля, вони періодично з’являються від початку повномасштабної війни, ніколи не підкріплені жодними доказами.
Метою таких дій є дискредитація України в очах світової спільноти і створення інформаційного алібі для використання заборонених отруйних речовин самими російськими військами.
Факти застосування вказаних речовин загарбниками, згідно з даними ЦПД, неодноразово зафіксовані на лінії фронту. Відомо вже, зокрема, про кілька випадків за останній час на Куп’янському напрямку.
