Французский сатирический еженедельник Charlie Hebdo, известный своими скандальными карикатурами, прекращает выпуск журнала на немецком языке. Об этом сообщает издание Figaro со ссылкой наглавного редактора Жерара Бияра, пишет Телекритика

"Как вы знаете, мы в Charlie любим сюрпризы. И у нас есть две новости: хорошая и плохая. Хорошая – вы держите в своих руках коллекционный номер, плохая – это последний номер Charlie Hebdo на немецком языке", – говорится в колонке редактора «Спокойной ночи, друзья, настало время вас покинуть» в журнале, которая подписана Бияром и главой немецкого выпуска, публикующийся под псевдонимом Минка Шнайдер.

Причина такого решения, по словам Бияра, – маленькое количество читателей. Для немецкой версии была поставлена цель – 10 тысяч подписчиков, однако этой цифры достичь не удалось. "Вы даже представить не можете, сколько нужно читателей бумажному изданию, чтобы оно было рентабельным. Слишком много, чтобы мы продолжали служить вам", – отмечается в колонке.

Напомним, версия на немецком языке Charlie Hebdo, который регулярно публикует провокационные сатирические карикатуры, иллюстрирующие различные события, в ом числе теракты, начала выходить почти год назад и стала первым опытом журнала в публикациях на иностранном языке.
