Mozilla первой «приостановила» рекламные активности на платформе в ответ на скандал с утечкой данных до тех пор, пока сеть не усилит защиту данных пользователей, пишет MMR.ua

К ней присоединилась немецкая финансовая группа Commerzbank. Как отметил директор по развитию бизнеса Mozilla, они обнаружили, что существующие настройки по умолчанию оставляют открытый доступ ко многим данным, особенно это касается настроек для сторонних приложений. Facebook уже высказал свое «возмущение» по поводу незаконного использования данных, а Цукерберг в своем заявлении назвал шаги, которые предпримет сеть для защиты своих пользователей.

Напомним, под видом научного исследования профессор Кембриджского университета собрал информацию, которую впоследствии использовали в предвыборной кампании Трампа.
