Президент Ісландії Гвюдни Йоуханнессон вирішив підтримати національну команду з футболу на Євро-2016 як звичайний вболівальник.

 "Я буду на трибунах з фанатами і одягну футболку збірної. Навіщо мені сидіти у VIP-кімнаті, потягуючи шампанське, коли я можу зробити це в будь-якій точці світу?

Для Ісландії цей результат на Євро-2016 дуже багато значить. Якщо ви поставили перед собою мету і працюєте в цьому напрямі і якщо у вас є дисципліна, то може статися все, що завгодно. Збірна Франції не повинна нас недооцінювати", - зазначив Йоуханнессон.
