Білий дім не очікував, що влада Росії дозволить оприлюднити своєму державному інформагентству фото зустрічі президента Дональда Трампа з міністром закордонних справ Сергієм Лавровим.

Видання пише, що росіяни почали використовували світлини із зустрічі у соціальних мережах, щоб "потролити американську адміністрацію".

Зокрема, російський МЗС оприлюднив фото усміхненого Трампа, що тисне руку Лаврову. Це було сприйнято як іронічний закид з боку Росії, зокрема в контексті звільнення очільника ФБР Джеймса Комі. Саме він проводив розслідування стосовно можливого втручання Кремля у вибори президента США 2016 року. 

"Вони обдурили нас. Ось у чому проблема з росіянами - вони брешуть", - прокоментував оприлюднення фото чиновник Білого дому.

Як повыдомляв PRпортал, у США розгорівся скандал через проникнення фотографа ТАСС на закриту для преси зустріч президента США Дональда Трампа з головою МЗС Росії Сергієм Лавровим.
