Авторы масштабного расследования под названием Панамский архив удостоены одной из самых престижных наград в области журналистики - Пулитцеровской премии. Об этом говорится в сообщении на официальном сайте премии, пише Ліга.нет

Награды в номинации Аналитический репортаж удостоены Международный консорциум журналистских расследований (ICIJ), американская издательская компания McClatchy и принадлежащая ей газета The Miami Herald. Премия присуждена за "ряд публикаций, созданных совместными усилиями более 300 журналистов на шести континентах с целью разоблачить скрытую инфраструктуру и глобальный масштаб офшорных гаваней".

Панамский архив, или Панамские документы - неформальное название международного журналистского расследования, в основу которого легла утечка конфиденциальных документов панамской юридической компании Mossack Fonseca. Первые результаты расследования, длившегося 12 месяцев, были обнародованы 3 апреля 2016 года. Проект разоблачает связи офшорных компаний с более чем 140 политиками в более чем 50 странах мира, в том числе 14 действующими и бывшими мировыми лидерами, среди которых - президент Петр Порошенко.

Согласно данным расследования, офшорами владеют 165 граждан Украины, а в офшорах ими зарегистрированы 195 фирм.
