Активіст Oлександр Снідалов, котрий живе в Голандії та учасник ініціативи "Україна-референдум" у Нідерландах, заявив, що залишає громадську оранізацію Global Ukraine оскільки не згоден з тим, що вона підтримує МіхоМайдан. Про це повідомляє PRпортал

"Офіційно заявляю, що не маю більше стосунку до організації Global Ukraine від 4 листопада цього року. Причини дві. Основна — співпраця керівництва глобалів з організаторами жовтневих протестів під ВР. Ну і той факт що у керівництві Global Ukrainians можуть брати участь лише представники інших організацій, мене, простого неорганізованого активіста, не надихає. Сподіваюсь твереза оцінка сорому, що мав місце під стінами Парламенту все ж, з часом, візьме гору. Коли це станеться, як щиро зможу побажати глобалам успіху в їх починаннях!", - написав Oлександр Снідалов на своїй сторінці у Фейсбук

Відповідаючи на питання "що не так з протестами під ВР?" активіст написав: 
1. Масові антивладні протести нині повинні мати дуже серйозні підстави. Жодна з заявлених вимог такою підставою не є, бо все це робочі питання які вирішуються демократично обраною ВР. 
2. Розбивання наметових містечок під стінами держустанов нині теж дуже не так, як на мене. Наприклад з огляду на кількість диверсій і підривів в Києві за 2017.
3. Ну і використання цілком адекватних вимог як вторсировину для машини популізму, це зовсім не та політика, яку я можу підтримати.

Після заяви Олександра Снідалова організація вимушена була зробити заяву з таким заголовком: "Global Ukraine та мережа Global Ukrainians є громадськими ініціативами та не підтримують жодну політичну партію". 

Правда, у самому тексті заяви говориться протилежне. "Виходячи з критичності політичної ситуації в Україні де постмайданна коаліційна угода де-факто не втілюється у реальність АП, ВРУ або урядом, та усвідомлюючи необхідність збільшити можливості впливу українських трудових мігрантів на політичну адженду для того, щоб українська нація виграла війну з агресором та з внутрішньою корупцією, оголошую наступне: Фундація Global Ukraine та мережа Global Ukrainians є та залишаються громадськими ініціативами, з метою консолідації зусиль українців світу для більш активного просування інтересів України на глобальному рівні.", - йдеться у заяві з якої стає зрозуміло, що вони і далі займатимуться політичною діяльністю.

Якщо проаналізувати фейсбук сторінку організації Global Ukraine, котра займається трудовою міграцією, то вона більше нагадує стрічку новин про самого Міхаеля Саакашвілі та протест під Верховною Радою. Зокрема, 4 жовтня організація влаштувала "глобальний телеміст з Михайлом Саакашвілі та з українськими політиками про протести в Києві та про захист прав закордонних українців". 

Втім, цей захід анонсувався як " Global Live Stream про захист прав закордонних українців"
