Колишній міністр економіки України Айварас Абромавичус погодився приєднатися до команди уряду Союзу вітчизни - Християнських демократів Литви, якщо ця партія здобуде перемогу на майбутніх виборах в Сейм Литви і отримає можливість сформувати кабінет міністрів. Про це повідомляє видання Delfi.

 "Успішний і  оцінений в світі досвід Айвараса Абромавичуса у справі реформування української економіки в умовах кризи і війни виключно цінний. Тому ми раді, що Абромавичус погодився застосувати його не лише в Україні, але і в Литві, працюючи у команді майбутнього уряду нашої партії.

У нас в Литві теж серйозні виклики у вигляді неефективних і непрозорих державних підприємств, де потрібна тверда воля, висока компетентність і стійкість до тиску груп інтересів", - сказав лідер литовських консерваторів Габріелюс Ландсбергіс.

Абромавичус сказав, що хоче застосувати отриманий ним в Україні досвід в Литві, тому що є "патріотом України і Литви".

"Хоча прогрес Литви в порівнянні із Україною набагато більший, щоб успішно конкурувати в глобальному світі і не відставати від найближчих сусідів, необхідно стрімко рухатися вперед", - сказав екс-міністр.
