Facebook, который сегодня празднует день рождения, подсчитал количество фейковых аккаунтов.

На прошлой неделе Facebook предоставил отчёт за четвёртый квартал 2013 года. Из него стало известно, что количество учётных записей соцсети достигло 1,23 млрд.

Однако позже компания также подсчитала примерное количество фейковых аккаунтов. Их доля составляет от 5,5 % до 11,2 % всех пользователей Facebook, сообщает The Next Web.

Данные подсчёты говорят о том, что число фальшивых профилей в соцсети составляет от 67,65 млн до 137,76 млн. Компания предоставила подробное разъяснение этих результатов.

От 4,3 % до 7,9 % аккаунтов Facebook являются дубликатами. 0,8 %–2,1 % профилей представляют не конкретные личности, а что-то другое. Оставшаяся часть страниц (0,4 %–1,2 %) нарушает правила социальной сети, поэтому их аналитики также отнесли к числу фейковых.

Данные показатели были рассчитаны с учётом внутренних данных Facebook, основанных на деятельности учётных записей пользователей.
