Ежедневная британская газета «The Telegraph» сообщает о приезде активисток Femen в Британию в декабре этого года, передает "Новый регион".

«Британские женщины нуждаются в нас, – заявила изданию одна из лидеров движения Инна Шевченко, подтвердив информацию об основании своего «представительства» в Англии. – Обычно причиной открытия является желание женщин страны. С нами связалось около 20 британских женщин, которые заявили, что Femen необходимы в Великобритании, и они готовы присоединиться к нашему движению».

Скандально известная организация Femen была сформирована на Украине в 2008 году.

На сегодняшний день после бегства ее основных участниц за границу группа создала уже 10 филиалов по всей Европе, а также в Канаде и Мексике.

Вместе с тем, «The Kiev Times» со ссылкой на немецкий ресурс «Spiegel» сообщает о европейской «усталости от Femen». В одном из материалов издания речь идет о том, что политическая карьера этих феминисток, например, в Германии подошла к концу, а их тактика больше не вызывает ажиотажа и поддержки среди населения.
