Хакеры из поддерживающей Башара Асада Сирийской электронной армии (SEA) объявили о взломе сайтов телеканала CNN и журнала Time, - сообщает  Lenta.ru.

Об этом они сообщили в Twitter. В свою очередь, издания объяснили неполадки в работе сайтов взломом внешнего сервиса.

Согласно заявлению SEA, хакерам удалось взломать внешний сервис Outbrain, который использовался как для сайта CNN и Time, так и для The Washington Post, о взломе которого сообщалось ранее.

В результате на некоторых страницах сайтов американских изданий была установлена автоматическая переадресация на сайт сирийской группировки.

В Time сообщили, что хакерская атака не затронула непосредственно сайт журнала: хакеры использовали модули, размещенные на сайте, но подконтрольные Outbrain.

Напомним, в апреле этого года Twitter агентства AP был взломан сирийскими хакерами, в нем было размещено сообщение о том, что в Белом доме произошли два взрыва и что президент Барак Обама получил ранения. Хакеры из Сирийской электронной армии также осуществляли атаки на Financial Times, Guardian, CBS и NPR.
