Польская компания Gemius забыла включить в аналитический отчет о популярных в СНГ социальных сетях показатели сайта "ВКонтакте".

Об этом Ленте.ру 25 декабря сообщил представитель компании в России Антон Мелехов.

По его словам, сотрудники польского офиса Gemius составили инфографику по соцсетям, "упустив статистику „ВКонтакте“. В итоге, в распространенном компанией пресс-релизе самой популярной среди жителей России, Украины, Белоруссии и Казахстана соцсетью были названы "Одноклассники". На самом деле, согласно собранным компанией данным, "Одноклассники" лидируют только в Казахстане.

Распространенную Gemius ошибочную статистику успели перепечатать сразу несколько российских СМИ. Заметки о выходе "Одноклассников" на первое место по популярности в России были опубликованы, к примеру, на сайтах РИА Новости, издания "Журдом", а также в "Российской газете". Позже новость на сайте РИА, послужившая основой для всех остальных, была скорректирована.

Ранее самой популярной в России соцсетью "Одноклассники" объявлял "Левада-центр". О том, что они посещают сайт "Одноклассники" заявили 76 процентов опрошенных организацией пользователей интернета. Доля тех, кто посещает "ВКонтакте" составила всего 58 процентов. Статистика "Левада-центра" шла вразрез с большинством доступных в интернете открытых данных. Лидерство "ВКонтакте", к примеру, летом 2013 года подтверждали рейтинги TNS и данные comScore. Тем не менее, о каких-то ошибках при составлении опроса тогда не сообщалось.
