Президент США Барак Обама со значительным отрывом возглавляет список влиятельных американских политиков, чья аудитория в системе микроблогов Twitter состоит из ботов и неактивных пользователей, сообщает РИА Новости со ссылкой на издание Daily Mail.

Аналитики MailOnline, проверив активность пользователей верифицированной страницы американского лидера, пришли к выводу, что из 36,94 миллионов "фолловеров" (подписчиков) аккаунты 19,58 миллионов или 53% представляют собой страницы людей, не существующих в реальной жизни, а еще 27% уже длительное время не пользуются сервисом. Итого, только 20% от количества читателей Обамы в Twitter являются активными блоггерами.

За главой США следует его первый заместитель вице-президент Джо Байден: у него тоже только 20% реальных читателей. Официальный аккаунт Белого дома, первой леди Мишель Обамы и спикера палаты представителей Конгресса Джона Бейнера замыкают пятерку.

Специалисты объясняют, что такое количество ложных "фолловеров" может быть вызвано активностью распространителей спам-контента, которые используют страницы известных людей для продвижения своей рекламы.
