Марков обратился в Европейский суд по права человека, чтобы оспорить решение Высшего административного суда Украины о лишении его мандата народного депутата. По словам политика, Украине дадут определенное время, чтобы она обосновала свое решение, после чего Евросуд вынесет свой вердикт.

"Мы подали иск и ждем. Там есть определенная процедура - нужно дать определенное время Украине, чтобы она обосновала определенное решение", - сообщил Марков.

Он назвал действия ВАСУ, спикера парламента Владимира Рыбака и следствия, которое вызывает его на допросы по делу о фальсификациях на выборах, противозаконными и поэтому уже направил обращения в Генпрокуратуру, суды, регламентный комитет Верховной Рады.

"Нынешняя власть не отличается оригинальностью – как только я объявил, а самое главное приступил к созданию нового политического проекта на Юго-Востоке страны, через три дня я получил повестку к следователю", - рассказал он.

По его мнению, таким образом нынешняя власть пытается запугать его команду, которая планирует создать новый евразийский политический проект.

Как известно, 12 сентября Высший админсуд обязал ЦИК лишить мандата депутата Рады Игоря Маркова.
