На должность президента издательского дома Коммерсантъ назначен Владимир Желонкин. Он сменил на этом посту Дмитрия Сергеева, который занимал эту позицию с июня 2012 года.
 
Как передает Лига,по информации Русской службы Би-би-си ранее Владимир Желонкин был заместителем полпреда президента в Центральном федеральном округе. До этого он возглавлял медиагруппу АФ Телеком Холдинг миллиардера Алишера Усманова, работал заместителем генерального директора компании Связьинвест, а также главой информагентства Русской православной церкви (РПЦ).

Предыдущая смена руководства в одном из ведущих медиахолдингов России произошла в июне 2012 года, когда пост генерального директора холдинга Коммерсанъ оставил Демьян Кудрявцев, призвавший не искать в его увольнении политическую подоплеку, и его преемником стал Сергеев.

Медиамагнат Усманов 9 октября заявил, что уход Дмитрия Сергеева с поста главы ИД Коммерсантъ вызван личными причинами.

В Коммерсантъ-Холдинг входят ежедневные газеты Коммерсантъ, Коммерсантъ-Украина, журналы Коммерсант-Власть, Коммерсант-Деньги, Коммерсант-Weekend, Автопилот, Секрет фирмы, Огонек и радиостанция Коммерсантъ-FM.
